Anthony Myers is the former editor of
confectionerynews.com, the leading trade title for the
cocoa, chocolate, and confectionery industry.

During his six-year tenure, the title gained a reputation
for its accurate and impartial writing and reporting on
the industry’s main trends and sustainability issues.

As a journalist, mainstream media often invited
Anthony to offer his views on cocoa-related news,
and he has appeared on BBC World TV, FoxNews, and
BBC Radio Four and is quoted in leading print publications.

Before becoming editor of confectionerynews.com, Anthony was the web editor for grocer.co.uk, the UK’s premier food & drink title.

In mainstream media, Anthony was part of the editorial launch team on the Guardian’s iPad edition and was a production editor across many of the group’s titles.

He has been part of editorial teams that relaunched the South China Morning Post’s features section in Hong Kong and was part of a group of senior journalists that launched the Bahrain Tribune.

Through various editorial roles, he has worked closely on projects with corporate clients, including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Accenture, Shell, FII Institute the UK’s Local Government Association, and more recently; The World Cocoa Foundation, Grupo Nutresa in Colombia, The African Cocoa Marketplace and the National Confectioners Association in the United States.

He has also been a freelance editor, writer, and data journalist for German publisher Axel Springer, responsible at editor-in-chief level for producing a series of print and digital corporate publications, working with various stakeholders, commissioning writers and designers, and working alongside project managers and art directors.
